Microsoft Launches Nationwide Recruitment Drive for Real Estate Lawyers Across India

In a strategic move aimed at accelerating its expansion efforts, Microsoft has launched a widespread recruitment campaign targeting real estate lawyers across every state and Union Territory in India. The tech giant’s ambitious hiring spree spans from Tamil Nadu and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to the northeastern states including Manipur, as well as regions like Ladakh, Puducherry, and Jammu and Kashmir.

The company’s job listings specify the need for dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced commercial and real estate attorneys to bolster its global cloud expansion initiatives. Responsibilities outlined in the listings emphasize tasks such as land acquisition, leasing agreements, and establishing strategic partnerships crucial for Microsoft’s operational growth.

Microsoft underscored its significant impact on the Indian economy, highlighting that its data center regions alone have created 1.5 million jobs over five years, including 169,000 newly skilled IT positions. Currently maintaining points of presence and availability zones in major cities such as Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Nagpur, Mumbai, and Jamnagar, Microsoft is also set to launch a new availability zone in Hyderabad in the near future.
