PMC extends deadline to avail 40% tax rebate on property tax till 30th Nov 2023

As the Pune Municipal Corporation will stay shut for two days, the deadline to fill the PT-3 form–which allows owners of residential properties occupied by themselves to avail 40 per cent concession on property tax–has been extended from 15th November 2023 to 30th November 2023.

However, the decision will be signed by the PMC on November 16, when the civic body reopens after the two-day holiday.

Ajeet Deshmukh, in-charge of the property tax department, said, “As the Pune Municipal Corporation will remain closed for the next two days, there was a demand from citizens to extend the deadline for submitting PT-3 form since the deadline for submitting the form was 15th November 2023. I discussed it with the municipal commissioner and he gave the approval to extend the deadline till 30th November 2023. The order will be signed on 16th November 2023.”
